What it is
Calcium BHB is a salt made by joining BHB with calcium. Calcium is the mineral most people connect with strong bones and teeth, but the body uses it for much more, including muscle movement and nerve signals.
Where it comes from
Calcium comes from rock, shells and dairy foods, and from greens such as kale and bok choy. For a BHB salt, a purified calcium source is combined with BHB so the two bind into one stable powder that goes into the gummy.
Its job in Gelacept
Calcium BHB gives the formula a calcium-based way to carry BHB.* It sits alongside the magnesium and sodium forms, and the three together support electrolyte balance.* Electrolytes in a Gummy compares them.
